One thing I can definitely say is that I am absolutely blown away by the talent of every student at SCAD Atlanta. Why you ask? Well I don't go to SCAD, (just yet...) but during my tour, I learned that every single painting, piece of furniture, or piece of artwork that is beautifully displayed was done by their students.
Take a look at this stuff!
It's crazy and inspiring and unreal that students, people around the 20 something's made this! After this tour, let's just say, I might be applying to SCAD Atlanta next year for Photography...
SCAD offers many programs of study such as:
- Furniture Design
- Interior Design
- Fashion Design
- Graphic Design
- Film Making
- And much, much more!
Another cool thing about SCAD that I learned, is that whenever you are enrolled within SCAD's school system, it is unbelievably easy to transfer/enroll to any of their locations: Savannah or Atlanta, Georgia, Lacoste, France, or Hong Kong, China.
SO, if you enroll at SCAD Atlanta for one year, you are able to go to another location (if your program of study is offered there, too) for one year or more, if you want.
You would be able to spend a year in Hong Kong studying, and exploring the country! Or go to Lacoste, France and eat croissants with the locals while you study the program of your dreams!
(This had me very excited, because I have the extreme case of the travel bug right now...)
I really hope that this post has inspired some of you to follow your dreams or pursue a career in something that you truly enjoy and have a passion for!
Because it has really encouraged me even more so, to go after my dream of photography.
And who knows, maybe even another line of study?
If you went to SCAD, what would you pursue?
