Before Tyler and I went to Beer Fest in Fourth Ward Park, we spent the afternoon exploring new bars and restaurants for a few hours in the surrounding area. I am so glad we did, because we came across three amazing spots for A Night Out, cute date night, or a special evening to treat yo-self (remember self-love?)!
Let's check out our first location:
The Mercury, Ponce City Market
FIRST IMPRESSION: WOW!
This place is so gorgeous. Packed with elegant design, an open kitchen facing one part of the dining room, and TONS of wine options. Not to mention, all their juices are done in-house and all their cocktails are carefully crafted to create a rush of summer in your mouth. Tyler and I tried their Pimmy Cup, which is essentially a Moscow Mule on steroids, AND IT IS SO DELICIOUS! It was so amazingly refreshing for the hot & humid days in Georgia.
Staff was helpful and very friendly! Felt great energy from the bartenders.
I also learned, that to keep mint leaves fresh & green after picking them, you keep the roots soaking in water!
Also will say, Tyler and I are definitely coming back for a date night & will try their food menu. Maybe a food review in the future??
Just an FYI:
They have Bottomless Brunch for $29.95 as well as Bottomless Mimosas for $19.95 on Sundays!

8ARM, Ponce City Market
FIRST IMPRESSION: HOW CUTE!
This retro-chic, tropical, hole-in-the-wall bar and restaurant is the perfect hangout spot! They have an outdoor bar, and inside they have the dining room, all giving a very cozy and personal experience.
They too, have brunch and amazing drinks.
I tried their margarita, with fresh squeezed lime juice (they juice everything in-house, too!) and oh my heavens, it was like drinking from the fountain of youth it was THAT GOOD.
This bar/restaurant gave a very relaxed, but fine dining vibe at the same time (if that's even possible). I can't wait to go back to the city and hang out during the week and try their food menu!
Also, they offer a pet-friendly outdoor bar (yay fur babies)!

Parish, Virginia Highlands
FIRST IMPRESSION: COFFEEEEEEEE!!!!!
Once upon a time, Parish was a former factory, but was then transformed into a fabulous café and restaurant. The top level is for dining: both brunch, lunch, and dinner, and the bottom level is a café dedicated to amazing coffee, pastries, and lunch menu.
Unfortunately, because of how packed it was when I checked out the downstairs café, I didn't want to get pictures of a ton of people mid-bite into their scones and make them feel uncomfortable...
I tried their Caramel Macchiato, with extra steamed milk and it was the perfect blend of bitter and sweet.
Tyler and I tried their Brasserie burger with fries and Deli roast beef sandwich with house-made chips, both great for our lunch (no pictures, we were REALLY hungry). They also have amaaaazzing mimosas with FRESH squeezed orange juice made in-house.
Overall, great service, atmosphere, and food!
Hoping next time we go, we will be able to try their brunch & array of beer and wine!
FYI: This café and restaurant is right beside the Atlanta Beltline if you're wanting to explore more of Atlanta!
